When L.A. Came to Louisiana

Most weddings live inside one venue space. This one didn't.

Adam and Amari booked both — every acre, every room, the full Friday and Saturday — and turned the weekend into a single event rather than a series of stops.

The ceremony was in The Sanctuary, where the pines do what pines do in late May. Guests carried black fans. The aisle ran straight through the trees to a timber frame open on every side.

Then everyone was bussed to The Stables for welcome cocktails — green velvet lounge furniture pulled out onto the grass under striped umbrellas, string lights overhead, nobody in a hurry.

Reception moved inside, under hanging amaranthus and pendant lights. Leanne's florals in green and ivory. Hillary's tablescape in black and white beneath them, with laser-cut place cards and coupe glasses. Black dresses for the bridal party, white and green in every bouquet.

Then on to the dance floor, DJs flown in from both coasts, and a party that went on well into the night.

Booking both properties isn't the standard path, but it's available. When the guest list and the design ambition both run big, it's the only way to give a weekend room to breathe: Friday rehearsal at one venue, Saturday ceremony, cocktails and reception spread across both. Nobody driving back and forth. Everything held in one place.

That's what we're built for.
