You'd Never Guess It Was February — Caroline & Eli
Here is the thing nobody expects about a February wedding at Sainte Terre: you can't tell.
The pines stay green all year. So while the rest of the winter world was brown and waiting, The Sanctuary looked exactly like itself — tall trunks, filtered light, the timber frame standing open in the middle of it.
Caroline's father walked her down the winding path through those trees while a string quartet played. At the edge of the treeline, a live painter worked the ceremony onto canvas in real time. And at the end of the aisle, under an arch of blue hydrangea and white roses, two families became one.
The blue carried indoors — hydrangea and garden roses spilling down the length of the tables, chinoiserie linens under Jeanne's tiered cake, and a groom's cake shaped like a duck decoy, which is about as Louisiana as a February wedding gets.
Florals were by Caroline's uncle, who runs a luxury floral studio in Little Rock. We handled everything else: the design plan, the timeline, the cakes, the day itself.
Every ceremony at The Sanctuary feels different. The light shifts, the season turns, and each couple brings a story that hasn't been told here before. But the pines are always there.
And so are we.
Every wedding at Sainte Terre includes your planner, chef, photographer, DJ, cake designer and day-of coordinator, with florals in-house or your own if you have someone you love. One team, four meetings — not forty.
