Back to Back With Their Vows — Camryn & Austin

Camryn and Austin were married in May 2026 at The Stables, in the white-washed chapel at six o'clock. Before any of that, they sat on two chairs in the barn with their backs to each other and read the letters they had written. Nobody else heard a word. She laughed. He laughed harder.

The ceremony was about twenty minutes, and they were the best twenty minutes of the day. Those minutes are really what the whole day is about. Just the two of them, standing at the front under a timber cross dressed in blue hydrangea, hearing their names said together for the first time, and walking back up the aisle past every person who mattered to them.

The palette was sky blue, white and greenery. Blue hydrangea and delphinium with white roses and peonies, on the cross, down the aisle and through nine bouquets carried by nine bridesmaids in sky blue satin, each with long blue ribbons trailing. Camryn's own bouquet was wrapped in a white handkerchief with a monogram stitched in pale blue. Inside the barn, long farm tables ran under hydrangea and white roses with table lamps set down the middle, a bar cart held champagne in cups printed with their names, and Jeanne's three-tier cake was piped all over in old-fashioned swags.

Sunset was at 7:57, so after the ceremony the field was theirs while the light went gold. Then dinner, a dance with his mom, a dance floor that never emptied, and a send-off in a vintage blue Buick convertible between four columns of sparklers. Another perfect Saturday night at Sainte Terre.
